Winter is a beautiful time to discover Santa Fe’s spectacular mountain areas. With over 340 days of sunshine each year, the snowy mountains are truly a winter wonderland!
Our snowshoes from Mountain Safety Research are lightweight, compact, and have durable steel crampons to grip snowy hillsides. Snowshoes are designed to “float”, allowing us to roam on and off-trail through pristine winter forests.
Private Snowshoeing Tours: Our guides design tours for all levels and all abilities. You don’t need any prior snowshoeing experience! Staying true to our belief that playing outside has the power to inspire, outings include plenty of time to stop and enjoy the views and to replenish with warm beverages and snacks.
Outspire provides you with snowshoes, poles, daypacks, water, snacks, and a knowledgeable guide. Participants should bring a camera, warm layered clothing, gloves, hat, sturdy waterproof boots and a desire for fun!
